One Creative Crow
Self-taught artist living in the PNW specializing in animal and pet portrait commissions.
My name is Megan Crow, and I am a commissioned artist in the Seattle area. While I mainly create with watercolor, I also dabble in other subjects like digital and acrylic art for my memorial portraits, whether they be humans, pets, houses, or even a beloved car.

Zuko’s portrait was one of the trickiest I’ve painted this year. His wispy hair against that dark background nearly got the best of me. I almost scrapped it two or three times! But I’m so glad I pushed through, because both his owner and I are really happy with how it turned out ☺️
I loved painting this little Frenchie ☺️

Just some little cuties to brighten your feed 🥰

Is Fang the most majestic dog I’ve painted? Possibly! Even on a petite 5x7 painting, you can feel how big his personality is 💙

Apparently it’s National Black Cat Day today! Going through my past paintings looking for kitties to post, I realized I definitely need to paint more black cats! 🐈⬛ 🐈⬛🐈⬛

Please ignore my messy studio in the background 😅
Loved seeing these three come together. Each portrait was painted separately, but they’ll hang together in their home next to each other 🥰💙💚

The third and final kitty painting for this client, and her very special request was to have Sullivan inside his paper bag 🥰🥹 I’ll admit, I was a little hesitant at first. I’ve never painted a paper bag before, and I wasn’t sure how it would fit with my background style. But I’m so happy to say I absolutely love how it turned out!!

As always, reference pic of Clover is at the end 🥰 Clover is actually the first kitten I’ve ever painted. Her face shape is so different from a grown cat, and she is so fuzzy, I really enjoyed the challenge!
Altogether, I’ll be painting three paintings for this client. The final painting will be a cat in a paper bag. I cannot wait to see them all next to each other!
