Following an inspiring week at AACR 2026, Cure First is doubling down on our mission to redefine precision oncology. We are currently refining our functional drug screening data to provide oncologists with a clearer, more actionable roadmap for selecting the next line of treatment—ensuring every patient gets the right therapy at the right time.

In our very first week, we received seven new patient requests, reminding us that the need is real and urgent.

This is not about funding a laboratory for its own sake.
It is about empowering patients and their oncologists to avoid trial and error when time is short and options are limited.

Because of you, we raised $203,100 and secured an additional $50,000 reserve, making reopening possible. We are profoundly grateful. Yet reopening was only the first milestone. To remain available to patients, the laboratory now needs sustained support.

Dear Cure First Friends and Supporters,

As you are aware we have been fundraising to help Szymon Sawicki obtain crucial personalized vaccines to fight his stage 3 Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma. This cause is very important for Szymon and his family because these novel approaches are not yet reimbursed by insurance.

Your support to date has been crucial to cover a portion of the expenses associated with the vaccine, which costs $80,000. Cure First has contributed an initial deposit of $20,000 from its existing funds and, with your contributions, together we have raised an additional $5,321.

Szymon still needs your help in reaching his fundraising goal of an additional $54,679.

The vaccine will be ready at the end of April and will be administered monthly. Syzmon’s oncologist is ready for Szymon to receive the first injection.
