Well, that was fun. I've spent the last 4 months on my final move. In 2019 I bought an old Bakery in NYC and I'm finally getting around to making the switch. It's in Bremerton, Washington, lol. . Still got a long way to go for setting the space up but there's no real hurry for .
My torpedo level fell into . 🐍 Crawling down to fetch it I got this nice shot. Major steelwork is done, lots of finish work to go close it out.
Getting to the good parts. I don't expect others to share my enthusiasm about
. But, If you combine shear terror followed by extatic joy, you'll come close to the feeling of walking that beam for the 1st time....

Only took a year to solve the paralysis on this custom fire tool set. So glad to have gotten them to their new home in time for Christmas!! ⛄🎁 🌲.

to my first bridge. 18 years ago in sub-zero temperatures we raised this 220' span over the in Winthrop, Washington. Feels great to be back in the ropes.

Oh man... What a weekend. The conference was a blast. Once in awhile, things come together where the instructor and students both get to push the boundaries of discovery, together. The made it's public debut and while I originally envisioned 5/8" rivet capacity, the way it absolutely crushed 3/4" makes me think it could do twice that size. Once again I am going backwards in my forging journey- flywheel driven mechanical hammers and toggle links were thought to have been obsolete not long ago. From what I have seen this tool is doing a better job than presses 2 to 3 times its size. Check out a lovely close up video from 's view of the event. As always, kills it with his insight and technical prowess demonstrating the Puget sound felling axe.
