Washington state’s data center regulation bill stalls following pushback from tech industry Microsoft last week publicly came out in opposition to the bill.

Why is the transparency provision in so important? In Oregon, tech giant Google fought back against releasing basic info about its data center's water use. We have a chance to pass strong legislation now to prevent this secrecy in Washington.
