This week, Tech4Good officially had their first leadership retreat! On Day 1, we went to New Brighton State Beach Campgrounds to discuss the state of the lab and learn our leadership styles from our mentor Shareen Bell. On Day 2, we met with Tech4Good alumni, who advised us on how our teams can improve their processes and skill-building curricula! Shareen Bell also hosted a session on how we can communicate effectively as leaders. The lab directors and leads learned so much at this retreat, and we are extremely excited to apply these learnings throughout the year! Shout out to our Web Dev lead Jialai for blessing us with fresh coconuts each day 🧘🥥
