New boots for wildland firefighter . Swapped out my normal thread with kevlar to help with the heat. Going to have to wait and see how they hold up long term, but I think we’ll be able to come up with solutions should any issues arise. Thanks again Liam! www.broadwinger.com

The boots I make are tough because to get out of my shop, they have to be. This pair was lucky, but what doesn’t kill them makes them stronger… and cooler, because this pair is now forever known as “The Bad Goats”. A worthy name for such a boot. I’m back baby! I knew I was good, but I didn’t know I was this good. When I got the text from a customer asking how much for a new right boot, my heart sank. Needless to say, be careful what creatures you trust to be around your Broadwingers alone. Every boot has a point of no return with enough damage, but when I saw the picture of what happened I said “hold my beer. Lets see what these healing hands can do first”. I would never call my self a hero… but some people do. And for those of you wondering, the dog was fine, but I’m pretty sure his teeth were ground down pretty good having gotten through that much a Broadwinger. Lucky pup. www.broadwinger.com
