A quick style sesh for the Flare statement pendant necklace! The super long length of Japanese silk cord lets you style it in as many ways as you can dream up. My favorite ways are worn down low with a bow in the back or worn high and wrapped around the throat for that 90s choker look. Both ways let the swingy finials dance along the back which is so fun. Which is your favorite way to style it? I’d love to hear!

So thrilled to be featured in the recent article “Striking New Cords: Easy-Feeling Alts to the Gold Chain”. I love using silk cord for my statement necklaces because you can style them as many ways as your heart desires! This creates a look that is totally your own 🤩 Would you wear a bold statement piece like this?

Thank you, Chicago! This was my fist time doing the Spring show and I was so busy having energizing conversations with the most dynamic women that I forgot to take pictures. Thank you to everyone who spent time with me, and for those of you who chose a bold piece to celebrate your individuality, I am deeply honored. I’m headed back to Seattle with a full heart and lit up with inspiration for what is next 🌟

I am finally back in my favorite place, sculpting with wax. Here are the humble tools I use to create gestural, dynamic ribbons of movement out of wax:

1. An x-acto blade and ruler that I use to slice ribbons out of sheets of soft wax (a self-healing mat with wax paper is key so I can measure width and it won’t stick).

2. Wood dowels where I smooth the strips of wax to play with width and thickness of each strip.

3. A dental tool with a scoop on one end that I warm over a flame to pick up scraps of wax and melt it onto a piece to build volume.

4. An alcohol lamp that keeps a flame running while I am working with the metal dental tool.

5. Wolf touch up wax that I pick up with a hot tool and spread over any areas of imperfection.

6. Wolf precision wax carving tools that I use on forms one the wax has cooled. These two with a small scoop and a blade are my favorites.

7. A heat gun that I will run quickly over a piece to melt away surface imperfections.

When I launched my brand just over a year ago, I spent a lot of time thinking about what the name should be. I knew right away I didn’t want it to be self-named. My mission was bigger than that. It is my absolute joy and honor to create bold, sculptural jewelry that makes you feel beautiful, powerful, glamorous 🌟

How do YOU want to feel when you wear jewelry?
