I haven’t posted in ages but I see that people are looking at the page so I thought I’d get active again.

Once again, I am participating in Mixed Media Morsels - this year the theme is homespun. Here is my first post for the year.

When I was little, my grandma used to crochet afghans and made one for each of the grandchildren. I still have mine although it does show signs of gentle wear and tear. For my page, I glued a piece of a cutter quilt to the bag and then images on top. I took a shot at some slow stitching but my stitches need a lot of work. LOL

My dear friend, Big Momma, played along with the tea bag tag challenge. Just look at the pretty pieces she made. I should also note that Big Momma was the one who challenged me to use the tea bag tags.

I was challenged this week to use tea bag tags in my projects. What a fun week it’s been - capped off today by tea bags glued, run through an embossing machine, and then gold foil applied to the embossed areas. Just finished this decorated canvas bag. This is the grungy version and has vintage trim, lace, doily, and buttons. I’m in love with this one.
