Union - Seattle, WA

Hey y’all - I'm back from my hiatus to tell you some big news....I had to step away from Union recently due to some big life changes. I want to thank everyone that supported me through this journey - I couldn't have pulled this off alone. I am grateful to have been a part of this community and I know the energy will continue on in this space because y'all bring the energy! I'm sorry Union’s been closed so long but I wanted to find the right folks to take over this space. I wanted to make sure they were ready to receive and give in our special little shop and so I approached Push Pull about carrying on the same values and intentions at Union. They were so excited and on board. We have been serving Push Pull’s coffee at Union for about a year now so they are no strangers to Union. When Chris moved from Portland to Seattle with his partner and kiddo, he made the effort to come in person and chat with the team and make sure things were well every week. Often we would end up chatting with guests and regulars and Chris always enjoyed the people he met during his delivery days here.

Union will stay similar in values with the new ownership - I have no doubts. They are dear friends (and another female business owner!) and familiar faces and i hope you stop by and welcome them to the neighborhood.

*Temporary Closure Notice*— Friends of Union Coffee and Wine, we will be closed the next two weekends, beginning this week. We will be closed the 6th and 7th, and then again next week on the 13th and 14th.

Our current savory croissant is my favorite one so far -filled with pesto, sun dried tomatoes, and feta cheese.

We fill and prove our croissants in house. They come out of the oven right around 9AM and if you're lucky enough to get them then -- it's literally perfection! The cheesy crust on top, the warm flaky layers - chefs kiss 🙌🏾

Our team has been obsessed with this Rwandan Natural process on espresso! Slightly more developed and full bodied with currant and apricot jam on the palate.

It's been rough y'all. Please be gentle with us at the cafe. All of us are mourning the loss of our rights, tired of covid limiting our ability to live fully, and colonial rule that directly impacts the lives of some of our team members. These are trying times and we work hard everyday to show up despite the heaviness.

Thank you to everyone that supports our q***r lil team and really sees us for who we are. We work hard to stay authentic and cut out the fake service bull****. We keep things real and I love the community we are building together 💕
