Saw another celebrity while I was there! ❤️ with her sweet hubby.

I ran into a bunch of people today photographing events that I hadn’t seen in years. People I had lost touch with when I moved to Portland, then Seattle. I’m back home now in Bend, and plan to stay. To be remembered and hugged in the community you’re from is a gift. I felt like I was back a part of OG Bend today. Stepping back into parts of an identity I’d lost touch with. I got to spend time with clients I’ve worked with for 17 years in branding, marketing, research, and photography.

It’s 50 for me this year. 😳 I’ve been at this a while. We all have, and I wonder if my clients ever have a moment of, “where has the time gone?” when they see me. It happened so fast! The landscapes I photographed in 2015 are now thriving and established, just like the clients that I now cherish as friends. Watching their firms grow over the years and their teams advance to partners-seeing the evolution of their portfolio firsthand-what an incredible honor that is! ❤️

If you’ve ever wanted to see inside of downtown Bend’s brownstone row houses, be sure to pick up a copy of Bend Home’s spring issue! The homeowners worked with to renovate the interior, who, according to the article, approached the project as a “restoration and reinterpretation of the space’s essence”. It turned out lovely, and we had a blast working with the owners who graciously allowed us to photograph them enjoying their beautiful space.

This stunning renovated home on the Sound was renovated to serve as a full time retreat and gallery for Bremerton artist, and her sweet family. This is one of my favorite photos-a sneak peak into the indoor-outdoor artist studio where the magic happens. Can you imagine a more inspirational setting? I’ll be sharing more about her incredible work here, and coming soon on the IG we’ll be talking about what it means to have a gallery style home and how every detail of this residence was carefully architected with Jane’s artwork in mind.
