Exciting news! I'm teaching a class in cold wax at The Art Center at Ambler in September.
It will be four sessions beginning September 10th. A fun introduction to working with oil and cold wax (my favorite!) We will be exploring texture and how to build up interesting layers with the wax medium creating abstract or representational images. No experience necessary. $175 + 40 supply fee. One of my favorite parts about my painting process is taking my reference photos. It usually occurs on a hike with my dog along the Wissahickon Creek or anywhere there is water. These photos were taken in Penllyn Woods and were the inspiration for my painting...Here and Now.

She used to dread the blue days.
She tried really hard to push them away with distractions and forced smiles. It worked okay, but she finally allowed herself to sit in the sadness and quiet, and surround herself in the blue...
and it felt good.
