What are you thankful for? 🤔 Research has shown that gratitude can improve your mood and give you a more positive outlook.
"Gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships." - Harvard Health Publishing, Harvard Medical School. For my fellow perfectionists and worriers out there. Sometimes it helps to remember all the other times you've stressed, and that you've made it through. Stay strong my people! 🙌

Trying to connect with clients can be challenging, especially if you're new in the field. This quote reminded me that one of the most important aspects of sales and consultations is authenticity.
Show up for your clients. Hear what they're saying. I mean listen, really listen. Make their priorities your own, and serve them as you would want those you love to be helped.
These basics are what shines through and really makes the difference.

Ask your high-performing employees this question next time you see them. This is a great way to find out if there's a missed skillset that they could be using.
It would be a win-win for both of you: the employee gets to do something new at work and develop professionally, while adding even more value to the business as a whole.
Boredom can make good employees look elsewhere for employment. A stale routine and easy workload, without challenges or learning and growth opportunities, can quickly kill interest in the job. So ask your employees if there's any skillset they would like to develop, or one that they already have which would benefit the role they're in or one they aspire to.
Side-Note: This is NOT advice on how to squeeze more out of an employee for the same wage. While the result may be increased productivity for your business, the focus should be on creating MUTUAL benefits that both parties are happy to work towards.

Non-physical compliments are a great way to build a relationship. They are often more memorable to the receiver, and make the giver appear more engaged and attentive to the other person.
It's especially helpful to avoid overused compliments, depending on your audience. For example, someone with very striking eyes may be so used to hearing, "You have really pretty eyes!" that they barely register the compliment at all. It's just in one ear and out the other, with an reflexive "Thanks!" to push the conversation along.
If you tell the same person, "You know, your confidence is something I aspire to," they will feel seen for who they are, not just what they look like. You would have to be observant to notice the way they approach others, or have really listened to their stories to learn as much.
So the next time you're trying to build a new client relationship or friendship, try a non-physical compliment and see where it goes!

Sometimes I feel super unmotivated until like 7pm and then it feels like the whole day is already shot. 😥
But I noticed that doing something "late" almost always felt better than doing nothing at all. Even something small and unimportant like just putting away laundry or even making a To-Do list for tomorrow.
My point is, don't let the clock hold you back. You get to decide what a day is and when it begins. 🕘

Had to share this post by , from . Not everyone can take a job that supports all 4 of these things right away.
That's okay. What's important is to HAVE A PLAN. 💯
Pursue the goal of obtaining those things. Search for a role where your time and health are the priority. Work with a company that respects your well-being and personal goals.
