Raise your hand if you've ever wondered whether you're doing this whole "nervous system regulation" thing correctly. πββοΈ
Social media makes it look easy.
A quiet room.
A meditation cushion.
A perfectly calm face.
But real life?
Sometimes regulation looks like taking a walk because you can't sit still.
Sometimes it looks like crying in your car.
Sometimes it looks like lying on the floor for 10 minutes because that's all you have the capacity for.
Sometimes it looks like finally cancelling the plans you didn't want to go to in the first place.
Your nervous system isn't grading your performance.
It's not asking you to look calm.
It's asking you to pay attention.
What's one thing that genuinely helps you feel more like yourself again?
π Tell us below.

Many of us bring the same mindset to healing that we bring to everything else:
Do it right.
Try harder.
Follow the steps.
Get the outcome.
But bodies don't always work that way.
Sometimes the most regulating thing isn't another technique.
It's letting go of the pressure to have the "right" experience.
To breathe perfectly.
To sit perfectly.
To heal perfectly.
What happens when you stop trying to fix, regulate, optimize, or improve for just 60 seconds?
You might notice that your body has been communicating with you all along.
Not through perfection.
Through sensation.
Through emotion.
Through simple awareness.
We're curious:
What happened when you stopped trying?
π Share what you noticed in the comments.

Healing isn't happening for an audience.
Your somatic practice doesn't need to be beautiful to be real.
The perfect meditation corner.
The matching yoga set.
The spotless living room.
The aesthetic morning routine.
But most real somatic practice doesn't look like that.
Sometimes it looks like sitting on the floor after a hard conversation.
Sometimes it looks like a deep sigh you didn't realize you were holding.
Sometimes it looks like lying on a rug in yesterday's sweatpants, letting your nervous system settle at its own pace.
Healing isn't a performance.
It's a relationship with your body.
And that relationship is often messy, imperfect, and deeply human.
We're curious:
ποΈ What does your grounded reality actually look like?
Tell us in the comments.
And share this to help normalize messy healing.

Letβs be honest: most clinical training skips over how to work with grief.
We are taught theories, but when a client is sitting across from us navigating death, divorce, illness, or a massive identity shift, the textbooks often fall short. Grief isn't a problem to be solved. It is an experience that needs to be met with deep skill and humanity.
The Integrative Grief Counseling Certificate brings together applied neuroscience, somatic practice, attachment theory, and ritual so you can feel truly equipped for this work.
Learn live alongside Megan Devine, Dr. Kate Truitt, Dr. Scott Lyons, Dr. Albert Wong, Dr. Rachel Natvig, and Nkem Ndefo during this 30-hour training.

Men's Health Month usually focuses on the body from the outside - check-ups, exercise, nutrition.
We want to talk about what's happening on the inside.
Nobody teaches men how to feel. They teach them how to function.
So you learned other things instead.
You learned to go quiet when you're actually overwhelmed.
You learned to get angry when you're actually hurt.
You learned to stay busy so you never have to sit with it.
You learned to say "I'm fine" before anyone even asks.
Which one hits closest to home for you?
Drop it in the comments π

For years, many of us have searched for healing through understanding.
Reading more.
Learning more.
Analyzing more.
But some of the most important conversations don't happen in the mind.
They happen in the body.
Join 13 leading voices in trauma healing, somatic practice, neuroscience, and nervous system regulation for two days of transformative conversations exploring what becomes possible when we learn to listen differently.
Featuring Bessel van der Kolk, Peter Levine, Richard Schwartz, Janina Fisher, Pat Ogden, Nicole LePera, and more.

Your inner parts aren't the problem.
Not knowing them is.
The part that overthinks.
The part that people-pleases.
The part that shuts down.
The part that keeps everything together.
These parts didn't appear by accident.
They developed for a reason.
In Parts Work, we learn to understand these protective strategies with curiosity rather than judgment. When we stop fighting our parts and start listening to them, healing becomes possible.
Level 1 of our Integrative Somatic Parts Work Certificate teaches you to identify, map, and work with the parts carrying core pain β in yourself and your clients.
This is foundational training for therapists, coaches, and practitioners who want a deeper understanding of how the inner system organizes around protection, survival, and healing.
Starts today β June 6.

Friday question for you π
When life gets stressful... which part of you tends to take over?
π₯ The one that pushes harder and works more
π₯Ά The one that freezes and can't decide anything
π€ The one that gets irritable and snappy
πΆ The one that goes quiet and disappears
π€² The one that takes care of everyone else first
There's no wrong answer β every part has a reason for showing up. We're just getting curious. πΏ
Drop your answer below β we read every one.

There's a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from trying to heal with your mind alone.
Reading the books. Understanding the patterns. Knowing, intellectually, why you do what you do β and still doing it anyway.
Somatic healing works differently. It starts with the body. With what you feel before you can explain it. With the places your nervous system learned to brace, shrink, or disappear β and the possibility of something new.
This June 13 & 14, we're hosting a free two-day Summit with ten of the world's leading voices in this work. And we want you there.

You know that part of you that shuts down in conflict?
The one that goes quiet.
Pulls away.
Disconnects.
What if that part isn't a problem to fix?
What if it's trying to protect you?
Parts Work teaches us that we're not one unified self, but a collection of parts, each with their own history, fears, and needs.
Some parts push us forward.
Some keep us safe.
Some help us avoid pain.
When we understand these protective strategies with curiosity rather than judgment, something begins to shift.
Healing starts when we stop fighting our parts and start listening to them.
Our Integrative Somatic Parts Work Certificate begins June 6.
