🐾 Wishlist Wednesday came early… and we need your help! 🐾

Fetching Tails has been incredibly busy lately—rescuing dogs, welcoming new faces, and making sure every pup has what they need to feel safe, nourished, and loved. With so many dogs currently in our care, we’re starting to run low on some essential supplies.

And with Prime Day kicking off now through June 26, it’s the perfect time to make a difference in a big way... 💚

If you’re able to give, we (and these sweet pups) are so incredibly grateful 🐶💕

When you become a monthly donor, you’re not just making a donation—you’re becoming part of a dedicated community that helps provide lifesaving care to dogs every single month.

Just a few dollars can make a huge difference:

$5/month – Helps provide a microchip so a dog never has to be lost again.

$10/month – Helps cover essential vaccines to keep a dog healthy and protected.

$20/month – Helps provide medical care for a rescue dog in need.

$50+/month – Helps cover heartworm and parasite testing, giving dogs the healthy start they deserve.

The truth is simple: rescue dogs can’t wait for “someday.” They need help today.

Meet Brock: 45 pounds of enthusiasm, zoomies, and questionable personal space.

At just 2 years old, Brock has mastered some impressive life skills:
✅ Potty trained
✅ Crate trained
✅ Kid approved
✅ Dog friendly
✅ Professional squeaky toy assassin
✅ Olympic-level zoomie competitor

Brock is looking for a family that appreciates the finer things in life, such as:
-Chasing toys
-Destroying Nylabones with determination
-Daily adventures
-Treats (his true love language)

Brock does great with other dogs and has been wonderful with kids as young as 3 and 5 years old. He’d love a playful dog sibling but would also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one-and-only furry child.

If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick, a walking buddy, a toy enthusiast, and a full-time source of smiles, Brock is ready to interview for the position.

Apply now. Brock’s current management says he’s overdue for a promotion to “beloved family member.”

Happy Father's Day to all the dads who can't start their day without a good cup of coffee!

If your ideal morning includes a fresh brew and a loyal companion by your side, we'd like to introduce you to Espresso.

Unlike the drink, this Espresso won't keep you up all night—but he will happily join you for your morning walk, keep you company in the backyard, and curl up beside you while you enjoy that second (or third) cup of coffee.

At 5½ years old, Espresso is a smart, affectionate German Shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger capacity for loyalty. He loves routine, enjoys long walks and durable chew toys, and is happiest spending time with his favorite people. Beneath his strong, handsome exterior is a giant teddy bear who just wants a person to call his own.

This Father's Day, while you're enjoying your favorite roast, consider adding an Espresso to your life. We promise he's the kind of pick-me-up that lasts forever.

Today, we're celebrating the dog dads, foster dads, and volunteer dads who open their hearts, homes, cars, and schedules to help dogs in need.

Whether you're providing a forever home, a temporary safe place to land, a fun day out, a ride to the next step in a dog's journey, or simply showing up to lend a hand, your love and dedication help our rescue dogs thrive.

Dogs like Granby (pictured on the right with his dog twin!) remind us just how much these special bonds mean. The trust, comfort, and joy our dogs experience because of caring people like you is truly life-changing.

From all of us at Fetching Tails Foundation, thank you for being the heroes behind so many happy tails. We wish all of our rescue-loving dads a wonderful Father's Day!

Pepper is approximately 5 years old and was surrendered alongside two other dogs when her family said they were moving and couldn’t take them.

This sweet girl is a friendly, lovable big dog, weighing around 60–70 pounds and heartworm negative. Pepper gets along great with other dogs and enjoys playtime with her canine friends. Cats and young kids are unknown. But older kids welcome! Pepper’s only path to safety right now is finding a foster home.

If you’ve ever thought about fostering, Pepper could truly use your help. Fetching Tails Foundation provides the supplies, support, and veterinary care—you provide a safe place for her to land while she waits for her forever family.

Can you open your home to Pepper and give her the second chance she deserves? https://www.fetchingtailsfoundation.org/foster

Latte’s daily schedule is very demanding:

6:00 AM – Wake up adorable.
8:00 AM – Play with dog friends.
10:00 AM – Fetch.
11:00 AM – More fetch.
12:00 PM – Pretend to be starving.
1:00 PM – Cuddle.
2:00 PM – Zoomies.
3:00 PM – Nap.
4:00 PM – More cuddles.
5:00 PM – Convince humans she hasn’t been petted in years.
6:00 PM – Repeat.

Warning: Side effects of adopting Latte may include:
• Excessive smiling
• Uncontrollable cuddling
• Never having personal space again
• Random zoomies in your backyard
• Finding dog toys in places you swear you already cleaned

She’s currently undergoing heartworm treatment, but don’t let that scare you. She’s handling it like an absolute champ and is ready to start interviewing candidates for the position of “Forever Family.”

If you’ve been searching for a dog who’s equal parts adventure buddy, cuddle expert, and lovable goofball, congratulations…

Your Latte is ready.

Apply today before she gets promoted from “available dog” to “someone else’s best decision ever.” ☕️

Her Majesty Princess is accepting applications for a new kingdom. 👑

Requirements:
✔️ Soft couch
✔️ Pizza supervision privileges
✔️ Commitment to telling her she’s pretty at least 3 times a day
✔️ No shared walls unless your neighbors also enjoy surprise opera performances

Now, before you get intimidated by her title, Princess isn’t the demanding type. She’s more of a “let’s quietly cuddle while you binge-watch TV” kind of ruler. She enjoys short walks, peaceful companionship, and being read to by children. (Honestly, her literary standards are pretty low. She’ll listen to anything.)

She does have a few royal decrees:
-She may howl at suspicious noises, falling leaves, ghosts, or absolutely nothing at all.
-She can detect pizza from approximately three zip codes away.
-Her vision isn’t perfect, so she appreciates predictable routines and gentle friends.
-She’d prefer a house without shared walls so she can continue her singing career without complaints from the peasants.

👑 Adopt Princess. Her kingdom is missing one thing: you.

A Yogi update for everyone who has been cheering him on.

Yogi is hanging in there and continuing his recovery journey. Surgery on his first leg is complete, and he recently went back to have both legs evaluated and potentially move forward with surgery on his second leg. Unfortunately, his first leg still needs more healing before that can happen.

For now, Yogi is making weekly trips to the vet for checkups and bandage changes, with each visit costing over $300.

If you’re new to Yogi’s story, in March he got loose and what followed was every foster’s worst nightmare. After hours of searching, we received the call that he had jumped nearly 30 feet from the Rohlwing Road overpass where I-390 and I-290 split.

Despite everything he’s been through, Yogi continues to fight, heal, and show us just how resilient he is.

We’re hopeful that someone out there is already following his journey and seeing their future best friend. When he’s fully healed, this incredible boy will be ready for the forever home he so deserves

Otherwise we’re still accepting donations for one of the most expensive rescues we have ever endured: https://www.fetchingtailsfoundation.org/donate-now
