Thanks to Bar Harbor Savings & Loan Association, Jenna and Kieran were able to install a heat pump from Dave’s World to help keep them comfortable and cuddly all year round WITHOUT breaking her budget.

Yesterday was a bittersweet day for our team. Our Scarborough Location Manager, Cindy Cummings, spent her final day at Dave's World.

Cindy has been with us since before we even had a store in Scarborough. She's seen us through opening new locations, and many growing pains, and is responsible for helping us build a successful business in Southern Maine. Cindy has been a cornerstone of our team at Dave's World for eight awesome years, and we are all going to miss her.

Thank you for your dedication and for all the time you spent with us. We cherish the time we’ve had with you and we wish you the best on your new adventure, Cindy!

It's an absolutely perfect morning to install a heat pump in Lakeview Plantation on Schoodic Lake!

Our Dover installers completed a multi-zone installation in Glenburn this past week. The team said the boss was a little short, but she ran a tight ship!

Congratulations to our Windham location on being named #1 in the heat pump category for the 2022 Eagle Choice Awards!

The folks at The Windham Eagle shared that they had a record-breaking amount of votes this year, with over 8,000 votes coming in. They recognized this as a "true testament to the amazing customer service and quality products" Dave's World is providing the local community.

This is a bitter-sweet week for our Dover location, which is our flagship OG store. Team Dover says farewell to one of our owners and controller, the one and only Dan Sharrow. However, their loss is Windham and Scarborough's gain as Dan isn’t leaving Dave’s World, but rather moving to another part of it. Our Scarborough location will be Dan’s new home as he and his wife venture south to start their next chapter.

Dan is a spectacular leader whose many talents never cease to amaze or entertain. When you think about a number cruncher, you don’t always think of someone who plays drums in a killer rock band or a guy who has the confidence to get up on stage to crush a lead role in the local theater production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. But Dan is all of that and so much more.

Thank you, Dan, for your dedication, support, and your much-appreciated singing in the office over the years! TEAMDover will miss you.

He's an installer out of Ellsworth working hard on this installation at the Old Town Orono YMCA!

We did a little digging and learned that the Y offers enriching opportunities for families, children, and older adults in the region, and they could use our support in bringing their great programs to even more people in our communities.

Here's how a donation to the Y could make a difference:

✔️ 52 per year ($1/week): Supplies for one month of an enrichment activity.

✔️ $104 per year ($2/week): Healthy after school snacks for one week.

✔️ $260 per year ($5/week): A 50% scholarship for 8 weeks of after school care for one child.

✔️ $312 per year ($6/week): An older adult membership for one year.

✔️ $1,040 ($20/week): A 50% scholarship for 32 weeks of after school care for one child.

WORK HARD, PLAY HARD!

Our consultants are sharpening their knowledge and learning more about the latest and greatest Mitsubishi Electric heat pump technology.

But what's a little learning without a lot of fun?! The team followed up the classroom time with some SERIOUSLY competitive go carting and R&R!

Just don't ask them who won the go cart heat!
