FEMA and FCC Plan Nationwide Emergency Alert Test for Oct. 4; Test Messages Will be Sent to All TVs, Radios and Cell Phones
Test is planned for tomorrow, October 4th, starting at 2:20PM.

It is suggested that:
1. Those who live in an abusive situation and have a “safe phone” silence that phone prior to the scheduled alert.
2. Parents and teachers should explain to students that the test is scheduled so they are aware.
3. Families and neighbors should be sure elderly/in-firmed are aware of the test as well.

Praying for those who died and for all those touched by this tragedy

May God bless fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, godfathers and all those who fill a fatherly role for others.

Prayers are requested for Mrs. Parahus and her family. Mrs. Parahus’ father, Vincent Sarnicola passed away. Any further details will be posted when/if they become available.

Plan on taking back-to-school photos and sharing them on your social media? 📓✏️ Those first day of school signs can give away a lot of important information about your child, such as their name, age, school, and hobbies. Remember - parents may have good intentions, but many people online do not.

and keep these tips in mind while getting ready for the new school year:

📍Erase location clues, such as school names, and identifiable information on school uniforms
📍Avoid geotagging or “checking in” to a school
📍If you do post a photo, use one without a back-to-school sign or blur out the information in it

As always, if you see something, say something! Report suspicious incidents to 911.

Special thanks to Police Officer Girard for being the ’s “student for the day”! 🚓 (we're not sure he gave his correct age, though 🤨)

As the new school year is set to begin, let us pray for former POP students as they begin another step on their life journeys. May they continue to grow in faith and knowledge. May they know their parents, family, teachers and faith communities will always be there for them.

Congratulations to all of the former POP students who are celebrating a graduation this year. May the next path on your life’s journey bring you joy and happiness.
Parents feel free to give a “shout out” to the graduate in your family.

Thank you for sharing your children with the POP community.

Happy Mother's Day! 💐

Our time of waiting is almost done!

"And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger."

Please keep Mrs. Apadula and her family in your prayers. Mrs. Apadula’s mother passed away.

Happy Thanksgiving

As the school year begins, please keep the students, teachers administrators and parents in your prayers. Please say an extra prayer for - the N-Pre-K children who might be leaving their parents for the first time; the students who are entering a new school without the support of last year’s friends; those entering junior or senior high school where they once again become the youngest in the building; and finally those moving on to college, the military, trade school or the work force- they want to be grown-up, but they too need a hug or a prayer as they navigate the world a little more independently than ever before. Finally pray for the parents that will go to bed this week wondering how in the blink of an eye their child has moved from their “first step” to their next step on their life’s journey. May God bless them all.

POP followers. I was asked to post info about a TA position with SCOPE. It will be at A Pat Med school. I believe the hours are from 8:45 until 2:45. TA will have to get trained to be an assistant but Scope said they would help with that.

If you are interested, email me and I will contact my friend.
