RAPID RESPONSE, UNMATCHED RESILIENCE:
RedLine Supports Port Jefferson Fire Department – On August 18, 2024, a devastating storm caused significant flooding in Port Jefferson, compromising the local firehouse and firefighter gear. Responding swiftly to an urgent call from the fire district, RedLine deployed our Mobile Extraction Unit within days, underscoring our commitment to rapid emergency response.
OUR MISSION IN ACTION:
Faced with unprecedented flooding, RedLine immediately rearranged our schedule to prioritize the needs of Port Jefferson Fire Department. Our dedicated team worked tirelessly, cleaning and decontaminating over 65 sets of firefighter turnout gear, including additional gear from the neighboring Centereach Fire Department. This swift action ensured that first responders could safely return to service without delay.
RESULTS THAT SPEAK VOLUMES:
By August 22, just three days post-storm, all impacted gear was restored to operational status, minimizing downtime and maintaining readiness to serve the community.
REDLINE’S UNIQUE VALUE:
Our Mobile Extraction Unit, equipped with advanced technology, travels directly to firehouses, offering a swift and effective solution in crisis situations. This capability exemplifies our commitment to supporting our frontline heroes.
THANK YOU, PORT JEFFERSON FIRE DEPARTMENT, for trusting RedLine in your critical time of need. Together, we ensure that safety and readiness are never compromised.
