Where in the world is the LBAC Travel Team? Today finds us in Costa Rica at the El Mangroove Hotel in Papagayo. It is a boutique hotel with 121 suites (including 1 new building with new suites). It is located right on the water, unlike many hotels that are located at higher elevations. There is 1 adult only pool and 4 other pools on property as well as 3 restaurants. They are in the process of building 13 new 2, 3 and 4 bedroom villas which are going to be amazing! Included in the resort fee are bikes, yoga, paddle boards, snorkeling, a coffee experience and the relaxation area at the spa. Best of all, it is only 15 minutes from the airport making it easy to get to once you land in Liberia!

Punta Islita is an adorable town about 2 1/2 hours from the Liberia airport in Costa’s Rica, in one of the worlds ‘blue zones’. Day 7 - our final stop on this incredible Avalon River Cruise! The Historic Centre of Český Krumlov. A UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is an outstanding example of a small Central European medieval town whose architectural heritage has remained intact thanks to its peaceful evolution over more than several centuries. This feudal town, a former centre of a large estate owned by powerful noble families who played an important role in the political, economic and cultural history of Central Europe, was founded in the Middle Ages and underwent Renaissance and Baroque transformations. As it remained almost intact, it has retained its street layout, which is typical of planned medieval towns, as well as many historic buildings including their details such as the roof shapes, the decoration of Renaissance and Baroque facades, vaulted spaces, as well as original layouts and interiors.

Day 5 of our Danube River Cruise - Vienna! From beautiful parks to historic sites (Schonbrunn Palace is a must see), some of the best shopping in Austria and then finished off our day with a walk through a local vineyard and dinner that featured delicious schnitzel and wine from the vineyard!

Day 4 of our Avalon Danube River Cruise - we spent the day exploring beautiful Bratislava Castle and the surrounding area.
