I thoroughly enjoyed reading EVERY single page of this AWESOME historical fiction book. The Author's use of WONDERFUL descriptions made me feel like I was actually living the part. LOVED the way this Author educated us on the wartime sinking of the German Wilhelm Gustloff in January 1945 in World War II by a Soviet Navy submarine, with an estimated loss of about 9,400 people, remains the deadliest maritime disaster ever. EVERYBODY knows of the Titanic, yet this was much more devastating, from the Titanic 1,517 people were killed, less than six times the amount of the Gustloff. WHY?
My emotions were all over the place while reading this from literally laughing out loud, to crying to cheering! The ending and how it all intertwined was a GEM! Can't wait to begin the Tin Box Secret, Reawakening and The Hope Chest.....Thank you Ms. Theresa Dodaro, BRAVO to a job well done!

My book club selected this. With alot going on right now I was at first viewing it as another to-do on my list. From the moment I opened the book that changed. The story is so well written that I found myself brought into it. I felt like I was walking among the characters; they came alive for me. The story touched my heart and soul in a way very few books have. I very rarely save my books but this will indeed remain in my collection. I can't wait to start The Tin Box Secret!

These two beautiful girls absolutely blew me away yesterday. After their purchase they continued shopping around town saving all of their loose change. They returned and proceeded to drop all their change into our donation canister for the American Foundation For Su***de Prevention. Their touching act made me cry 🥲🥰
