Thursday 4/7: Blue Room (Sorority event outside on the patio followed by Throwback Thursday inside)
Friday 4/8: Vice in Savannah
Saturday 4/9: Southern Social (closed out the night after a killer show by Sun/Down the band)
First Prom since before Covid 💥
It’s interesting to see how Tik Tok is changing the way kids listen to music. Most of the crowd seemed to only be interested in the chorus or for just 1-2 mins of each song. I’m thankful for my ability to read the crowd which allowed me to adjust on the fly and mix in the next song consistently as I saw this happen.
Everyone was entertained and on the dance floor all night 🕺🏻💃

Fall wedding season is going strong 🎉
I had a blast in Charleston last weekend for back to back weddings! I got to see some awesome venues and work with even more awesome people. Plus I was able to spend time with family!

Back in the summer of 2016 (what a time), I was given the opportunity to try out for one of the bars at Georgia Southern. I had 0 experience with mixing and had never touched a DJ board, but I had plenty of experience listening to all genres of music. The bar had DJ software on a tv so I was able to learn the basics using a mouse and keyboard. Soon enough, I became obsessed with beat matching and mashing up songs in order to keep the crowd’s energy going strong.
Since PT school has taken over my life during the week, DJing has been my opportunity to work on weekends when I’m not busy studying. This hobby continues to give me sparks of good energy and it has become an important part of my life. Whether I’m at a club, wedding, prom, or quinceañera I always do my best to make sure everyone is having the time of their lives. The last 5 years have been filled with awesome experiences and even more awesome people. None of this would be possible without the support from family and friends 🙏
