The intention of the Garletts Residence - 2012 addition was to create an entrance that connected architecture to landscape. The black and white, “Alice in Wonderland” styled interior design, adorned with frog butlers, life size dice, and numbered stair risers, influenced the landscape design. A series of whimsical spaces including: a tree well of flowers, a stone veneered fountain, and a curved seating wall, connected by sinuous hardscape, lead to the black and white, checker board themed patio.
