Job description
Looking for a receptionist that is warm, friendly, compassionate, outgoing, hardworking and loyal. One with the ability to handle multiple things at one time without showing stress or signs of being flustered.

As a Front Desk Check in Receptionist you will greet each individual patient in a friendly warm demeanor that will make them feel welcomed. You will help the patients sign in electronically and answer any questions they have doing so. You will input new patient data and scan insurance and ID cards and submit insurance for verification to the appropriate source. You will answer phones and schedule various types of appointments for the Chiropractor, Acupuncturist, Nurse Practioner and Massage therapists on staff. You will gather medical records and provide them to the Dr. for review before sending to various attorneys. You will need to keep a tidy organized desk space that shows you are a diligent worker and are on top of things as patients can observe your surroundings from afar. Putting away supplies and keeping on top of inventory that needs to be replaced before needed so we never run out. Previous experience with chiropractic is a must as you need to be able to explain the types of procedures we do in office and why we do them.

HOURS ARE APPROXIMATE CANDIDATE NEEDS TO BE SLIGHTLY FLEXIBLE

As a Front Desk Receptionist you will greet each individual patient in a friendly warm demeanor that will make them feel welcomed. You will help the patients sign in electronically and answer any questions they have doing so. You will input new patient data and scan insurance and ID cards and submit insurance for verification to the appropriate source. You will answer phones and schedule various types of appointments for the Chiropractor, Acupuncturist and Massage therapists on staff. You will collect copays and balances and go over insurance benefits with patients, therefore, you will need an understanding of deductibles, copays, coinsurance, out of pocket amounts, allowed amounts etc to be able to appropriately explain benefits to patients in a way that they will comprehend. You will gather medical records and provide them to the Dr. for review before sending to various attorneys. You will need to keep a tidy organized desk space that shows you are a diligent worker and are on top of things as patients can observe your surroundings from afar. Light cleaning duties such as wiping down counters emptying trash and tidying patient and employee bathrooms between our typical weekly cleanings. Putting away supplies and keeping on top of inventory that needs to be replaced far before needed so we never run out. Previous experience with chiropractic is a must as you need to be able to explain the types of procedures we do in office and why we do them.

Thankfully so far our office has NOT come into contact with any known persons infected with the virus.
