Free Flu Shots Tonight!!! Details within:
Reminder: No Clinic this coming Tuesday evening, but FLU SHOTS 4 FREE on Thursday night!!
Hello, Friends! Long time, no post! A couple of updates from Sapulpa:
We have flown past our 300th Patient Mark, and we are currently working tediously to secure funds for the construction of and operating expenses for an IN-HOUSE PHARMACY for medication dispensing. We've also just acquired a brand new ECG machine after our leadership team received a grant from the American Academy of Family Physicians!! Big things continue to happen at Cura for the World in Sapulpa! Please keep reading for important info:
1. We are now seeing patients BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please call our clinic @ 918.347.3331 for available appointment times. Clinics continue to be on Tuesdays from 5:30-7:30p. (There's no longer ANY reason to show up super early!!)
2. On clinic nights, we require that patients show up and check-in by calling our number 15 minutes BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT TIME so that we can get everyone triaged and ready in time to be seen by the provider. We are limiting the # of bodies in our clinic at all times, so we request that you wait in the car until we bring you in. Please note that MASKS ARE REQUIRED (masks will be provided at the clinic. Patients are limited to 1 visitor as needed).
3. Be on the lookout for posts soon about FREE FLU VACCINE CLINICS! Due to Covid-19, it is *especially important* this year to get your Flu Shot! We will make additional announcements as the dates draw nearer, but mark down THURSDAY NOVEMBER 5 and THURSDAY NOVEMBER 12 5:30-7:30 for free flu shots at our clinic.
🥳WOW!! Today marks the official ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY since our clinic opened its doors in Sapulpa, and what a difference a year makes!! The Covid-19 pandemic has challenged and inspired us to rethink our clinic procedures, and it has helped to inspire innovative solutions!🥳
We have grown SO much! Over the past year, we have welcomed new volunteer providers and staff, we have formed several partnerships throughout the community, and we have welcomed hundreds of patients into our Cura for the World family. Our mission continues to plow paths forward as we lay grounds for HUGE upcoming changes.
Our goal to be “Under One Roof” with our partnering pharmacists at Med World Compounding Pharmacy in Sapulpa is BECOMING REALITY!! Keep on the lookout for upcoming construction as we start this transition next month 🚧
We have also welcomed aboard our first employee, Stephanie Campbell! We are so thrilled that she will be able to help with patient scheduling and communication with the providers so that we have a solid person of continuity to help keep everything straight and smooth.
We thank the community of Sapulpa for supporting our efforts as we look forward to expanding our outreach in the coming year!
Happy Anniversary to Cura for the World Sapulpa Clinic!!
Greetings! As previously published, Cura for the World Oklahoma Clinic in Sapulpa will begin face-to-face encounters at our physical location beginning this coming Tuesday, June 2nd. A few things will be done differently, and these are listed below. It gets wordy, so please read carefully! These are being implemented to provide safety to our staff and our patients. Please bear with us as this will be a new learning curve for everyone!
* PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT PERFORM COVID-19 TESTING
* Clinic hours are 5:30-7:30. There will be designated parking spaces in the parking lot with signs for Cura. Please try to park in these spots and call the clinic number so that we can find you and initiate check-in. The clinic number is (918)347-9221. The clinic will begin answering calls and starting check-in at 5PM. We REQUIRE that the parking spots and storefront sidewalks of our neighboring business are uninhabited by Cura patients. Please do not congregate at the door or on the sidewalk!
* We ask that pre-scheduled follow-up patients arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment (this will be confirmed and a time will be provided via phone prior to clinic days) and follow the check-in procedures from above (calling the clinic number to confirm your arrival so that we may come to you to start the process). If these patients arrive after 5 minutes past the scheduled time, the slot will be forfeited to a walk-in encounter.
* During in-car check-in, patients will be provided with a number (1-12) and will be asked to remain waiting in their cars. A mobile phone number will be necessary so that we can contact patients when they are ready to be triaged by the nurses and seen by the provider. We will aim to have 2 patients in exam rooms and 2 patient in the waiting room in order to keep things flowing as smoothly as possible
* Walk-in patients: Please understand that our scheduled follow-up patients will be seen according to their scheduled follow-up time as this helps expedite the evening's flow. We will see walk-in patients throughout the evening as appointment slots have been reserved for these encounters as well
* We will ask patients to limit visitors/family to +1 maximum. Pediatric patients will require a parent/guardian.
* We will have a mandatory mask policy for everyone (volunteers, patients, visitors). Disposable masks will be provided as patients/visitors enter the waiting room.
* Rooms will be cleaned thoroughly between patients
* We are going to continue to transition to scheduled appointment slots to help ease wait times and to limit clusters of individuals. This will not eliminate Walk-Ins as we will have designated slots on our schedules, but the allowance for these will vary from week-to-week. We will communicate openings in advance and throughout the duration of each clinic.
Phew. That's a lot! We will get through this, and we hope that these new procedures will help to expedite check-in and alleviate some headaches.
Cura for the World - Sapulpa Clinic Updates:
**As the community begins to introduce procedures for social re-opening, our Sapulpa clinic is tentatively planning TUESDAY, JUNE 2ND as our physical clinic reopening date. Our volunteer providers and staff still must carefully monitor the situation and prepare for a potential influx in local cases, which could affect this plan.
**We are prioritizing the health and well-being of our patients and our volunteers. It is no secret that our waiting room is quite small, so we will continue to develop and advance planning for check-in procedures (and likely in-car waiting) in order to continue to adhere to necessary social distancing measures. We will be dramatically limiting visitors and will be enforcing masks for the acute time being.
**IN THE MEANTIME, we continue to be of service on Tuesday evenings through a virtual platform at Cura.com. These are *scheduled* slots and are free of charge to our patients. Available appointment slots are currently posted on the app. Information for this will be posted once more in the comments section.
**We will likely continue with a form of virtual care henceforth (details to follow) in order to increase our outreach services and potentially increase our clinic hours.
**PLEASE NOTE, we do not perform testing for Covid-19.
**Please call our clinic with any questions. Voicemails are checked frequently throughout the day, and we will help however possible. (918)347-9221.
Residents of Creek County:
Creek County Health Department is providing this tremendous service to the public! Please read the details below - by appointment only and for patients who are experiencing the listed symptoms. This flyer has excellent information!
Sending out another reminder! Due to the current pandemic situation and our concern for everyone's safety, we are temporarily moving our clinic encounters to a virtual platform through the generosity of Cura.com. Please see the instructions on the flyer for instructions on how to reserve an appointment slot for tonight. These appointments are reserved for patients who do not have public or private insurance.
Please download that app and request an appointment BEFORE our normal business hours.
There is NO NEED for anyone to be physically present at our clinic for these visits, and staff will be helping from alternative locations as well. As always please call with questions, we do our best to get back to you within 24 hours.

These are interesting times, friends. Thanks to Cura.com, we are able to continue our services via virtual encounters for the time being. Please refer to this flyer for necessary instructions to gain access to our providers. This is STILL a first come, first serve process with a 12 patient cap. We will STILL be seeing patients on Tuesdays and our hours are STILL from 5:30-7:30. (We’re trying to keep some things the same!) We will keep everyone posted as we are able to move back into our physical space on West Taft with respect to COVID-19.
Stay safe 😷
To our patients and community:
Cura for the World Clinic in Sapulpa will be open today 5:30-7:30. Given the extraordinary circumstances in relation to COVID-19, we are drastically adjusting our intake procedures in order to limit group sizes. We will ask some patients to wait in cars after their place in line has been assigned, where they will wait until their number is up. The check-in process will begin between 4 and 4:30.
We also ask that a maximum of 1 family member per patient be present within the clinic during the encounter. (We must also protect our volunteers and their family members!) Additional time will be used between encounters to disinfect rooms and equipment.
PLEASE BE COURTEOUS OF OUR NEIGHBORING BUSINESSES and DO NOT PARK in front of their storefronts so that their customers will have access to appropriate parking.
The COVID-19 situation is very fluid, and guidelines are changing by the minute. We will communicate updates via Facebook and voicemail, and we will be posting signage on our windows. In the meantime, stay safe, stay home (when you can) and wash your hands.
We're all in this together!!
CURA 2020 GALA UPDATE
Hello friends, family, patients, and the community of Sapulpa!
Our goal is to provide the very best access to care within this community. We want to be certain to provide a safe environment for our patient and volunteer staff.
With the growing concerns of acute respiratory illness at this time, we respectfully ask that if you have symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath, or if you have recently traveled to an area with known transmission of Covid-19 (also called the Corona Virus) or if you have been in contact with someone who has TESTED POSITIVE for the virus and you would like to be seen at our clinic, please call and leave us a voicemail at 918-347-9221. One of our staff will try to return your call within 24 hours and ask you a couple of questions before your visit.
At this time we are still planning to have our normal operating hours this upcoming week on Tuesday night. In the mean-time please use common flu prevention practices. Wash your hands often, cover your cough, and be respectful of everyone's personal space. Of course, if you feel sick and have a fever, please stay home!
We look forward to seeing you this week!
