My Cricut pens were OUT OF CONTROL. 😅

My brother 3D printed me two new holders, so I finally gave them a real home.

Are your pens organized… or living in a mystery bin too? 😂

Tiny cardstock cuts are where Cricut settings start getting humbled. 😅

For really detailed designs like this, I don’t use the “regular cardstock” mindset.

Try this instead:

• fresh/sticky mat
• clean blade
• intricate cut setting
• more pressure (only if your cardstock can handle it)
• peel the mat away from the paper — not the paper off the mat

Tiny details need support, not speed.

Would you rather cut something like this in cardstock or vinyl?

Cricut math: "this won't take long" = see you in 3
business weeks 🤣.

This giant acetate dandelion was one of my most extra projects, but I still love how it turned out.

Full updated tutorial is live on YouTube (comment 🔗, and I’ll send it).
Because the old version needed a glow-up. ✨

Would you have finished this or abandoned it halfway?

The Giant Cricut Dandelion Tutorial Is Finally Updated
🌼.

Three years ago, I decided to see if I could make a giant dandelion using my Cricut, acetate sheets, bamboo skewers, and a foam ball… without knowing if it would actually work.

Spoiler: it worked.
But it was definitely not a quick craft 😅.

I updated the tutorial because the old version needed a much better breakdown.

Would you try this Cricut version, or is this officially too extra?

Quick Cricut tip: mix your materials.

This grad party “guest book” was made to be displayed, not tucked away in a drawer…

I used it more like a display piece people could sign — and the dimension came from layering different materials:

wood veneer for the frame
acetate for the clear front
kraftboard/posterboard for structure
cardstock + glitter accents for the details

That’s what makes it feel more like a keepsake and less like a flat sign.

And if you’re cutting veneer, don’t cut corners and grab the StandardGrip mat 🫣😂.
Use a StrongGrip mat, brayer it down really well, tape the edges, and use the Deep-Point Blade.

Would you rather have guests sign a book… or something you can actually display after the party?

Drop a 🎓 if you’d try an alternate-style guest book instead.

Memorial Day hits different when you’ve served. 🖤

As a Combat Veteran, this piece means more to me than just another project.

Today is for the brave men and women who gave everything — for the families who still carry that loss, and for the country they loved enough to defend.

God bless the fallen.
God bless the families left behind.
And may we never forget what freedom costs. 🇺🇸

I made this jacket as my tribute. ❤️🤍💙

If you created, wore, displayed, or shared something in honor of Memorial Day today, I’d love to see it. 🇺🇸
