SELLERS: How to tag & organize your clothing for sale ➡️

👕 PRINT TAGS ON HEAVYWEIGHT PAPER (WHITE CARDSTOCK):
Tags printed on plain copy-paper tear easily & often. Tags printed on colored paper do not scan at checkout. Tags must be printed on WHITE CARDSTOCK.

👖 TAGS MUST BE SECURELY ATTACHED:
We can not sell your item if the tag has fallen off – even if a customer really, really wants it! Without a tag, we won’t know which consignor should receive credit for the sale.

👗 CLOTHING RULES:
All clothing must be freshly laundered, clean, a current style and free of: rips or tears, stains of any size, fading, broken zippers, missing buttons, excessive wear, pilling fabric, worn knees or hems of pants and cracked & fading graphics on tshirts.

🩳 ALL CLOTHES MUST ARRIVE ON HANGERS:
All clothing must be neatly hung on HANGERS (any kind – tubular, plastic or wire are all ok!) Where to find hangers? Wal-Mart & dollar-stores are both good sources for cheap hangers. Hold on to dry-cleaning hangers & hangers that come w/ clothing you purchased throughout the year.

FREE is best! Ask on Facebook (friends, mom groups, buy-nothing groups) – everyone seems to have a stash of hangers they don’t need and are happy to get rid of!

👚 ATTACH TAGS TO CLOTHING LABEL ~OR~ RIGHT-HAND SIDE OF CLOTHING. Attach pins only to the thick seams of clothing (waistline, neckline, armholes, etc) or the item’s size tag. (Next time you're in Target, check out how they attach tags to clothing for examples.)
