A boutique that caters to the creative home market and is located inside the Painted Tree in Frisco, TX. Shangri-La Lane is focused on interior items such as home décor, DIY products, furniture paint, and vintage furniture pieces. We provide furniture refinishing tips, DIY tutorials, and design inspiration. Shangri-La Lane is an official retailer of Iron Orchid Designs, DIY Paint, Wise Owl Paint, Saltwash, Mint by Michelle, Bubblegum Yum Artisan Papers, and Cling On Brushes.
Today’s workshop was all about transforming simple pillow covers and tea towels into beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces using Iron Orchid Designs (IOD) stamps. From elegant peacocks and florals to personalized monograms and delicate bird motifs, every project reflected the unique style and creativity of its maker.
We were thrilled to welcome 8 talented students to the workshop. While we only managed to capture photos of 6 of our participants, every single project was absolutely beautiful and showcased just how versatile IOD stamps can be.
One of the best parts of our workshops is seeing ideas come to life, sharing inspiration, learning new techniques, and enjoying time spent creating together. The laughter, conversations, and creative energy in the room made the day even more special.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made today’s workshop so much fun! We love seeing the confidence and excitement that comes from creating something handmade and uniquely your own.

This Memorial Day weekend, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Their courage, selflessness, and dedication to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸
In observance of Memorial Day, Shangri-La Lane will be closed Sunday & Monday as we take time to reflect on the true meaning of this holiday and honor our fallen heroes.
We are forever grateful to those who gave everything for our nation. Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend. ❤️🤍💙

Another creative afternoon at Shangri-La Lane ✨
Our latest workshop was all about creating beautiful handmade journals using IOD Stamps & Moulds, and everyone’s designs turned out so unique and inspiring. From layered textures to vintage details, each journal reflected its maker’s personal style.
We even had time to create an extra journal using IOD Transfers & Moulds, and it was the perfect reminder of how versatile these products can be when you mix techniques together. 🎨📚
One of our favorite parts of every class is watching creativity grow throughout the workshop — strangers become friends, ideas spark new inspiration, and everyone leaves with something truly one of a kind.

Can we just take a moment for our newest gilded transfer, Athenaeum?! 😍 If you’ve ever dog-eared a page or pressed a flower, this transfer was made for you. Inspired by the most gorgeous vintage book covers, like Pride and Prejudice and The Language of Flowers, the details make our hearts sing. We’ve been putting her on everything.

To the moms raising children while serving, the mothers supporting sons and daughters in uniform, and the military spouses holding everything together at home — we see your strength, resilience, and unconditional love.
Thank you for the sacrifices you make behind the scenes every single day. Your courage deserves to be celebrated just as much as the heroes you support.

These two lovely ladies met as strangers while visiting from out of town and hanging out at their hotel pool… and somehow the conversation led them straight to an impromptu creative workshop at Shangri-La Lane. 💕
Together they created these beautiful decorative trays using Fusion Mineral Paint and Iron Orchid Designs transfers — and left with not only handmade projects, but a brand new friendship too.
We love seeing creativity bring people together in unexpected ways. This is exactly the kind of magic that happens in our workshops. 🎨✨
