Boris McCutcheon and The Salt Licks

A truly unique specimen of Americana, Boris McCutcheon was awakened but the muse at an early age. As his catalog of music refuses to surrender to a neatly boxed easily describable genre, one can anticipate the constant twists and turns in his lyrics, melody, themes, arrangements, and chord progressions. Accompanying Boris through his kaleidoscope of influences and mischief are the mighty Salt Licks. Susan Holmes, Paul Groetzinger and Ben
Wright make up this local all star band. Boris and The Salt Licks are an anomaly in the evolution of American roots music where any subject matter or genre is fair game.

McCutcheon’s songs are edgy, quirky, wondrous, peculiar, sardonic, wild, political, humorous and sometimes leave him deeply vulnerable. Farmer, Arborist, Mayordomo, Family man, and creator of the term “New Mexicana” Boris has toured Europe many times over for the past two decades. Boris has been called, “The King of American roots music” in the Netherlands, where
he and the Salt Licks are considered the real deal.

We are still waiting to get set up with other distributors, so this will be our only adult beverage offering for a day or two.

AND THEN CAME HUMANS is an indie/ jazz-rock/ funk/experimental duo featuring long time friends Mike Sopko (guitar/vocals) & Ryan Scott Long (drums/synth keys/vocals).The band released their debut effort “IN HEAT WAVE” in September 2018 and has consistently followed the release with heavy touring. Their unique friendship and playing experience has allowed them to form a universal sound that closes the gaps between indie jazz, rock n’ roll, funk, blues and singer-songwriter folk music. Together this genre-defying duo creates an eclectic sound fusing original compositions with tasteful versions of popular music covers.
