Is there a list of the winter market vendors? Thanks in advance
Thank you to all of our wonderful donors who have given to the COVID-19 Response Fund!
Today we are continuing our COVID-19 Response Fund grantee spotlights with Santa Fe Farmers' Market Institute.

The Santa Fe Farmers’ Market Institute is using SFCF funding to support their Double Up Food Bucks Program (DUFB), which increases food access for hungry New Mexicans by doubling SNAP transactions at the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market. In the last month, the SFFMI has experienced record use of the DUFB program. Direct matching funds are provided through the USDA and the state of New Mexico. SFCF funding is helping the SFFMI protect DUFB and some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

Visit our website at www.santafecf.org/covid to donate to the COVID-19 Response Fund.

Apologies if this is not the place for this, but I am trying to find a farm/ home for this little chick (olive Easter egger) that I believe is a rooster. It's still tiny tiny, about a week old and already tough as nails and following me around. It's smart but it's not getting along well his (probably) sister. If anyone knows anyone needing, wanting a possible rooster please message me. Thanks!

Good Cents Organization of the Month:
Santa Fe Farmers' Market Institute

January's Good Cents donation recipient is the Santa Fe Farmers' Market Institute. Their mission is to advocate for farmers, ranchers, and other land-based producers; provide equitable access to fresh, local food; own and operate a year-round venue for the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market; and manage programs to help sustain a profitable, locally-based agriculture community.

They support agriculture in northern New Mexico by connecting community and agricultural producers through commerce, and serve more than 150 farmers and producers through their work.

For more information, visit https://farmersmarketinstitute.org.

For every reusable shopping bag you use at La Montañita Co-op in January, you'll reduce your carbon footprint, and we’ll donate a dime to Santa Fe Farmers' Market Institute! And with our reusable container credit, we'll donate 5¢ more for every reusable container you use for items in our Bulk and Produce Departments.

It all adds up — we've given more than $260,000 to community organizations through our Good Cents program.

Join the fight to end hunger - a growing issue in New Mexico. We are ranked last in the nation for childhood food insecurity. Only 22% of adults in Santa Fe (and 18% of our kids) eat 5+ fruits and veggies every day. Diabetes costs us $1.8 BILLION a year.

The Santa Fe Farmers Market Institute (SFFMI) is the nonprofit sister organization of the Santa Fe Farmers Market, providing support to the Market, farmers, and our community.

In 1995, the City of Santa Fe acquired the 50-acre parcel of downtown property called the Santa Fe Railyard. From 2000 to 2002, the City hosted open meetings that fostered an unprecedented amount of community input into the Railyard Redevelopment Master Plan. Once completed, the Master Plan called for the Santa Fe Farmers' Market to retain a central presence in the Railyard. After ten years of ven
