Now open Monday - Saturday from 11 to 6, Sunday 12 to 5. Cheers! 🥂
Visit us in the shop and ask us about ! We currently have: Grüner Veltliner, Pinot Noir, and Cab Franc… and more on the way 🍷
Here's what we carry:
• Dürstein, Riesling, Federspiel - herbaceous notes with refreshing citrus and stone fruit. Substantial texture, inviting acid kick, drinkable early on and yet with potential to age.
• Ried Mühlpoint, Grüner Veltliner, Federspiel - Flinty, spicy, fresh herbs and citrus. Drink this now now now! She's ready!
• Steinertal, Grüner Veltliner, Smaragd - White florals, stone fruit and white pepper with a pithy and ye**ty roundness that invites elegance and surprise. Drink now or hold on for a few years! Predicted to develop beautifully in 5-10 years.
La Cayetana
Grape: 90% Criolla Blanca a.k.a. Pedro Ximenez
Where: Mendoza, Argentina
"Things are getting nerdy up in here....but stay with me. This wine is for the adventurous drinkers out there who want something out of the ordinary.
Normally utilized for sherry production in Spain, the Criolla Blanca grape has found a new beautiful home in Mendoza. Similar to sherry, this wine ages under flor (layer of yeast) for about six months, but that is about where the similarities stop. For La Cayetana, they add around 10% of a blend of Gewurztraminer, Semillon and Viognier that ages in oak pipes as a sort of "dosage". The practice of dosage is most commonly seen in making Champagne-method sparkling wines to add a "kiss" of sweetness. However, this wine is neither sparkling nor sweet. Weird, huh?!
It has delicate florals, tropical fruit, citrus peel, honey and candied nuts. It's unique and distinguished but still playful enough to bring to your mother-in-law's for dinner. It's chaotic and nerdy and all at once a firework of deliciousness. Don't be afraid to get weird with your wine...If you were waiting for permission...this is it!
Big love and good sips,
Ella"
Ver Sacrum
Eggs (Oh, you must!); Quiche, Omelets and Deviled: Go all out with a Blanc de Blancs Champagne or a budget friendly American Sparkling Blanc de Blancs. These bubblys provide a creaminess to complement the rich nature of eggs and a refreshing lift for midday sipping. - Blancs de Blancs
Green Veggies: Asparagus, Green beans and brussel sprouts: These foods are notoriously hard to pair because of their bitter nature. Worry, no more! Springy wines like Grüner Veltliner from Austria are just the ticket! Herbal notes with refreshing acidity make you want seconds...thirds...dare we say fourths (?) of those spring greens. -
Lamb: A very traditional choice for this time of year. We are going for Agiorgitiko from Greece. Never heard of it? No problem! This wine is smooth, deep and concentrated with black plums, blackberry, mint and rich tannins to make a beautiful counterpart for your main dish. "Notios"

Today we are highlighting Emily's Staff Pick: Christian Tschida's "Engel auf Erden". Emily sums it up perfectly...
•
“A natural, pink macerated (lightly pressed), Cab Franc from Austrian wine maker Christian Tschida. I appreciate the traditional, sustainable and ethical methods used here. Thinking of wine as more than the sum of its parts with the parts being incredibly thoughtful themselves, from foot crushing to indigenous yeast. Not to mention this wine is so easy and fresh but not without character. A glou glou sour cherry finished with subtle spices. Very romantic. A juicy kiss. Would be perfect if served slightly chilled with your honey, the sunset and some yacht rock. *sigh* A girl can dream.”
