Valentine's Day Edition!! Do you see the golden rich color of this wine? This is dessert in a bottle. Sauternes is one of the noble wines of France and is meant to be enjoyed with those you love or enjoy being around or just you because you decided to treat yourself. Perfect pairing with maracona almonds, Petit Basque (cheese) and call it dessert!! The best end to any Valentine's day dinner.

Valentine's Day Edition!! Something unique and different may be in order for this Valentine's day and i have your covered. Robert Sinskey Vineyards Orgia is what you should get. This is an "orange" wine, meaning that it is a white wine that has seen skin contact giving the wine a golden orange hue. Orgia is 100% Pinot Gris, harvested at night from a CCOF certified organic vineyard and WOW!!! Think white peach and grapefruit on the nose followed by notes of honeydew melon and apricots on the palate when you sip. The perfect wine for vegetables, seafood and even pork.

Valentine's Day Edition!! Sweet wines are a go to for Valentine's day and at the same time sweet can be elegant, refined and not feel sticky and thick rather clean and refreshing and drinkable. Dalla Terra Winery Direct brings us this amazing Moscato d'Asti from Vietti. It is everything a Moscato should be, sweet and elegant, crisp and delicate, honey and nectarine. The delight you will find in each sip .... aaaahhhh!!! Favorite. Moscato. Ever!!

Valentine's Day Edition!! Welcome to vegan friendly, biodynamic natural wine that is just full of some much goodness. Troon Vineyard from Oregon is taking the natural wine to a whole new level of deliciousness!! This is not a sweet wine, rather it is dry with a touch of tart sour cherry and raspberry. This wine is soooooo good with charcuterie.

Valentine's Day Edition!! There is nothing like a delish port to have with nuts and cheese, or with ribeye (you read that right... ribeye) or with stuffed portabello mushrooms. Port is not just for dessert... it can and does an amazing job with the main course. And this port right here is one of my all time favorites. 10 year old, 93 pts, not sticky sweet at all with notes of toasted hazelnut and caramel with an amazing balanced finished that is clean and smooth. It really is the perfect little port and under $40. This will make your Valentine's Day that much better.

Bringing in the New Year... It's bubbly time!!
I am a professed bubble-head. Unashamed that if I had my way it would be bubbles all day every day. So we start the buildup to this Friday with this lovely Champagne. Two French families, one marriage to create this amazing wine. This is the epitome of Champagne. Light lemon shortbread with a soft and satisfying experience from beginning to end. Find this champagne and enjoy it with potato chips (not joke), french fries (seriously one of the best combos) or just by itself. It is worth it.

Holiday Edition day 24/25 .... And to All a Good night!!
Two things that may the holiday for me... Santa (I still believe) and Amarone. Full disclosure... my favorite wine of all time is Amarone. I will never say no and will gladly share this delight. And if Santa is around...I will raise a glass with him. Tenuta Sant'Antonio Amarone is a delightful expression and one that I enjoy year to year. Think of this as the red velvet dress you wear for you know it fits just right, you love how it makes you feel and who care what anyone else thinks. That is this wine. Juicy dark fruits, beautiful dry finish, all wrapped up in the perfect balance of what every red wine aspires to be. Find this at your favorite local shop!!

Holiday Edition day 23/25 ..... Celebrate Good Times!! we are inching closer and closer to the end of the holiday season. For many of us that means it is time to break out the good stuff and maybe, just maybe, we share it with friends. This is one of those wines, Donnachadh pronounced DON-nuh-kuh... this winery prides itself on producing stunning Organic wines of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah all without compromising a promise to make it better each and every vintage. These wines are stunning and as I said, sharing is optional. Find these at your favorite local shop!!

Holiday Edition day 22/25... Celebrate Good Times!!
Ahhh... Good food, good friends and/or family, means good wine. Gundlach Bundschu has you covered on that. Their entire line up of wines does not disappoint and are true gifts of taste to bring to the holiday table wherever your table is at. Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer and Mountain Cuvee red blend... all sustainably farmed on a family owned and operated vineyard since 1858. This family and these wines are some of the pioneers of Sonoma and are worth enjoying. Find these at your favorite local shop!

Holiday Edition day 21/25.... Let's start the start the celebrations!! We are heading to Argentina today. Going to the highest altitude vineyard space in Mendoza (4,600' ft) we are also going up in price today and it is well worth it. Tapiz winery is operated and owned by Patricia Ortiz, a visionary in her country and one who believes that Malbec should be produced with the future in mind. Sustainable farming practices that roll over to the surrounding communities and the workers. Now... take a look at this Malbec!!! Black Tears .... rated multiple times as one of the Best Malbecs in the world, consistently 90+ point. This wine is one not to be missed. Find this wine at your favorite local shop!!
