The Santa Fe Run Around 5K and Kid's K is held each May on the Santa Fe Plaza. This year's run scheduled for Saturday May 21, 2016 will be the 38th annual running of the race. As in years past, the course winds east on Alameda to Cristo Rey Church where it loops back to the Plaza. The Kids K will be a circuit up one block to the Cathedral then returning on Palace. Presented by the Santa Fe Striders and Rotary Club of Santa Fe. The race benefits the local chapter of Girls on the Run.
Club track workout this evening at the Santa Fe High track, 6pm. Vin Kelley, back and rested up from running Boston, will be leading the workout: generally a series of intervals that stack up to a little more than 3 miles. Come out, sharpen your turnover and chat with others about the upcoming Run Around (2 weeks, 4 days!).

The Run Around is three weeks out. For a tune-up race to sharpen fitness or get the training cycle moving tomorrow's Wood Gormley Panther Run 5K is a terrific event to jump into.
