Cloudflare, the company that handles routing and DNS for a big portion of the internet, is currently having issues. These issues are causing ClearCheckbook to show errors if you try accessing it. You can see status updates for Cloudflare here: https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/

Once they fix the problems on their end, ClearCheckbook will work as expected.

It looks like AWS is finally coming back online and we're seeing successful connections and traffic to ClearCheckbook again.

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage from this morning is still causing some lingering connection issues with ClearCheckbook. If you aren't able to access the website, please try again in a little bit. Unfortunately we're just waiting for the AWS issues to be resolved.

We're getting ready to launch new versions of the Android and iOS apps and would love some feedback. Check out the blog post below if you're interested in beta testing the new apps!

ClearCheckbook's servers were having some issues processing traffic this morning. The issue has been resolved and we're continuing to monitor the situation. Sorry for any inconveniences it caused.

11:50pm ET - The database upgrade is complete and ClearCheckbook is back online. Thanks for the patience while we got this taken care of!

10:59pm ET: Database has been updated to the latest version. Optimizing the database has started (this is another time consuming process)

10:06pm ET: All data has been transferred to the new database. Upgrading the new database to the latest version has started (this is a time consuming part)

Our database upgrade has begun. We will keep you updated with the status on here as well as the maintenance page on ClearCheckbook.

Reminder: We will be performing a database update tonight, Friday October 20th, at 10pm ET. This update will require both the site and apps to be offline during the upgrade process.
