Santa Clara Math Circle

For those who are new to Don Callejon Arts and Design School, one of the after school clubs we offer is Math Circles, which explores mathematics in a friendly environment led by a high school student, Arnav Ahuja. He has adults present who assist, but he has spear-headed this club to build the joy of mathematics and mathematical thinking in our students, which has now run for 3 years. The information for the club is below:

Event Information

When: Every Thursday (starting Oct 23) after school at 3:00-3:45pm

Where: Mr. Duong’s class E1 (pending confirmation)

Who: Students in 3rd-5th grade

Key Dates

10/6: DCS Math Circle information and flyer sent to students

10/8: DCS Math Circle applications due

10/15: Student acceptance letters sent out

10/23: First class of DCS Math Circle
