Tomorrow is the last day of 2020 and what a year!

And even though I am home trying my best to stay away from Instagram lately, I wanted to come here and say a couple of words using a pic from years ago!

It has been a difficult year for all of us, staying away from my family (especially during the holidays) has been especially tough for me.

After 10 months of quarantine I feel like I have learned to take my time and enjoy life's small moments a little more than before. I now stop and look out the window and say grace for living in a stunning coastal town and for being healthy and having a home. I am more grateful for the food I eat (and grow in my garden) and I am infinitely grateful for my family and friends support.

In 2021 I wish to be more like in the picture. Open, unafraid. Not because there is nothing to be afraid of but because, no matter what happens, I am now choosing to look at life with gratitude. It is funny how in a year where I stayed at home all the time, I feel like I have reached out of my comfort zone more then ever before.

Wishing everyone a loving and kind 2021, where we can be more open with each other. Not because our life is so perfect, but because we are grateful for our chaotic journey.
