Retail has been the key to building our path as a small business. Our first Ace Rivington store opened the day before Thanksgiving in 2016 and was only 120 square feet (first image pictured). From there we grew into our Cuba themed store (second image) followed simultaneously by our Alaska themed shop in Los Olivos (third image). We’ve now been our current home in the heart of Downtown Santa Barbara for the last two years (final image). Here’s to building path…putting in lots and lots of work…and being happy creating something incredible.

Hey Instagram Family, I need some marketing advice.

In our shop…I’ve been able to tailor jeans to every height since we opened…and making folks feel and look great in our jeans has been an awesome experience for me.

Tailoring shirts is a NIGHTMARE…but that doesn’t change the need.

I’ve introduced different height options in our shirts (with adjusted sleeve and body lengths). I’m finalizing our marketing now…and so far my only marketing feedback has been from my 8 and 11 year old daughters…and

What do you guys think of my concept, H1, H2, H3?

2 1/2 years of effort…and it’s all going down on August 16th.

AR Shop Walls. I built this banner using the same Candiani denim that we use to make our jeans. This spectacular map of the Channel Islands was burned into all 6 of the panels on this artwork using the same laser that we use to burn whiskers into our jeans. I stitched all 6 of these panels together in the shop, put of the straps (lol…and almost killed myself hanging this piece. It’s a fitting backdrop to the incredible Kayak below. This Kayak was commissioned and built in Sweden in 1948 by a gentlemen who would love his life out in Ojai. He actually used this Kayak to compete in the 1948 Olympics in London. Lots of storytelling going on inside the shop. If you haven’t been by for a visit…please put us on your list the next time you are strolling through Santa Barbara.

In 1986 my dad made a film called Thrashin, and ever since skateboarding has played a super inspiring role in my path. I’ve had an incredible time getting to know all of these stellar athletes well…and watching them all at the top of their game supporting Ace Rivington in this epic shoot launching our Summer Campaign . Be sure to follow every one of these cats and others who you’ll see soon as they define the sport of Downhill Skate Boarding. Wow…what a day (following lots of wild years). This morning I was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year by for 2021. For those of you who have been following along for some time, you know that we’ve been persistent with every opportunity to support others (including amazing businesses and initiatives in Santa Barbara and beyond). I’m humbled by the recognition, and honored to represent our spectacular town with every customer we serve.

A fighter pilot , a photo guy and a pizza guy walk into a pizza parlor and make some magic happen. Ace always putting good people together. Thanks for the truck too

Tonight marks 2 big things....1) our first visit back to the since Covid to see .  2) the launch of our 2022 Santa Barbara Tour Monster Tee in collaboration with . This year our tee features local live music venues, and a portion of the proceeds are being donated to (which offers grants to live music venues).   . Get your tee now, they will be available for pickup in Santa Barbara or to ship next Thursday 5/19.

Massive day for Ace Rivington giving our first donation check to towards medical supplies for Ukraine. It’s our amazing customers who’s deserve the thanks for all of the Bluebell and Butter product purchases (as 50% of the profits from these items is what has made up our donations). This support will continue until the war ends. Thanks and team for sharing the story. 🇺🇦💙🙏

Oh Hey 1984…There’s a new Sheriff in Town!!! Mose days I feel like I’m walking on air, but these Trident Ripstops certainly add to my float.

In the late 1980s, my father made a film and had a plane flown under this bridge at Stage Coach Road near Today after interring him at his final resting place in Santa Barbara next to my mother I enjoyed his memory…and the best BBQ lunch ever at Cold Spring. The love and support my parents, incredible wife and daughters…and amazing extended family provide have blessed me in so many ways. Thanks to all of the friends, family and wonderful customers who have played a part in making my Ace Rivington dream a reality.

We're celebrating our newest addition to the world of Ace Rivington (our new production warehouse at Santa Barbara Airport) by participating the SBA Plane Pull.

It means we're literally going to pull an Alaska Airlines airplane. ✈️

Only 20 feet...but still, it's pretty RAD.
