This week, CenCal Health had the honor of recognizing Congressman Salud Carbajal for his longstanding leadership and advocacy on behalf of Medi-Cal beneficiaries, providers, and communities across Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.
From his early service on the CenCal Health Board of Directors and his time as a Santa Barbara County Supervisor to his work in Congress, Congressman Carbajal has demonstrated a continued commitment to expanding access to care and supporting the health and well-being of Central Coast residents.
We are grateful for his partnership and dedication to advancing policies and investments that strengthen public health systems and support our local communities and beyond. We also appreciate the leadership of Board Chair Sue Andersen, Board Members Supervisor Joan Hartmann and Daniel Herlinger, and our CEO Marina Owen, whose presence reinforced the significance of this recognition on behalf of our organization.
