We are OPEN today at least until 3, longer if we're busy. Please call 805-845-5179 for a status check if you like.

For tomorrow, Wednesday Trading Day, we will be accepting 1 bag of winter items/snow gear on a DROP-OFF BASIS ONLY. We will be sorting through items and offering credit and returned items after January 1st. This is not a new policy, only a temporary adjustment due to Thomas fire evacuations.

As always, consignments of equipment, etc may be brought in for consideration during any store hours.

We hope all of our Hippo friends and family are safe and off somewhere else breathing easy...we are! Lianne and I and kids...and dogs...have fled to Yosemite in search of crisp, clean, cool air. We have decided to shut Hippo all of Wednesday and possibly Thursday, depending on the conditions. We will post here our hours as we know them.
