Upon graduation, they are ready for conservatory and music schools. Most recent students went on to study Violin performance at San Fran Conservatory, Guitar at Berlklee College of Music, Political Science at Harvard, Environmental Science at UCLA, Dodge Film School at Chapman College, Digital Arts at UC Santa Cruz, Engineering at UCSB, Viola Performance and Education at Wheaton College.

Congratulations Adam and Nir on the shout out at the symphony! So many elements go into fostering the next generation of not only musicians but good human beings. We are so thrilled and proud to be a part of this journey with all of our students.
How lucky are we to have an internationally renowned Maestro raising his family in ? This week he’s conducting in Israel, but he still found time beforehand to accompany his son Adam at his recent violin performance at the Santa Barbara Scholarship Concert. Providing music education experiences to youth is the cornerstone of our mission. Nir Kabaretti truly embodies that! Congratulations to both of them!
Thank you Bonnie Carroll for coming to the concert and the shout-out!

Gone way too soon. I had the honor of having coachings with Roger Tapping when he was a member of the Takács Quartet. He was an incredible musician and passionate chamber coach.
Condolences to his family, colleagues and all that new Roger.
We are heartbroken to lose our beloved colleague and friend Roger Tapping. Roger died of cancer today at the age of 61 with his family by his side. One of the most passionate and celebrated chamber musicians of his generation, Roger was adored by students, colleagues, and audiences around the world. His love for performing and teaching radiated from his very being and deeply touched all who knew him. We will continue to be inspired by his unstoppable energy and zeal, qualities that he brought to all his musical collaborations. Our daily quartet rehearsals were elevated by Roger’s love for playing string quartets together. The pleasure he derived from music-making was palpable and inspiring, not just for those of us who were his colleagues, but for the generations of young musicians who were fortunate enough to have known and worked with him. - Areta, Astrid, and Ron

Teaching in person at our downtown studio and at SBCC has been the most rewarding start to this academic year. A very sweet student (who may be finishing her doctorate degree in engineering at UCSB this year) was so appreciative to come back to in-person lessons, that she brought me these beautiful sunflowers!
Thank you and it is my pleasure to be teaching!

But sorry Crockpot, I never can keep to recipes and wanted this to be plant- based, so no, there is no bacon in this.
Would you like this version of the soup? Comment or DM. Or maybe you can guess! I did add extra veggie scraps or bottoms to make the broth plus herbs.
Might throw some tomatoes in too!
Last pic shows my breaking timer. Luckily I know it increases in increments of 30 minutes.
