Our community may be small, but it's mighty! So proud! http://easterngazette.com/issues/2017/02_05_21.html#page=4

Let's be honest, 2020 is a s**t show. Even to the bitter end. As I type this, my heart is heavy with grief (it has been for weeks) knowing that that my uncle is passing. As I was just finishing this post, I was notified that he passed. 💔 #cancersux
So, it seemed fitting to spend the day cleaning up the last of the 2020 bulls**t... I mean sheep s**t. It was kind of therapeutic in a way. I want nothing more than to have a clean slate for 2021, but I know that won't change just because the calendar does. At least I can have a clean barn.
I was feeling lots of emotions as I reflected on memories with my uncle. There are so many to choose from. I know I'm really fortunate in that regard.
As I reflected on 2020, business wise, this year was great. I'm so grateful for all the lomah support. Truly. 🙏 On a personal level, trying to juggle all the things and keep my s**t together was a real struggle. I could not have done it without the help of my own little support system including: my dear friend and neighbor Sheila, all of the wise counsel from my business coach @darrahb and the supportive friends that came from that incredible group of entrepreneurs, and of course my husband (thanks for loving me in the midst of my intense stress and anxiety and always showing support. I love you!) I do indeed have a great support system. ♥️
I'm ending the day with a much needed soak, a g&t, and a couple of muscle Mender bath bombs. Because this lady is sore! 🤕
Also, Happy Birthday to my "little" brother, Jake! I love you so much and am so proud of the man & father you've become.
Yup, lots of feels happening today. 🥳💪🥺😡🤗🤬🤭😫😢💔🛁😴😭

More soap is on the way... I promise!
.
My inventory is the lowest it's ever been since I started making soap. It's a testament to a good product, and loyal, supportive customers. For which, I am beyond grateful.
.
Please be patient with me as I ramp up production and restock my curing racks. As always, if you have any requests, I'll gladly take them.

Be safe, be healthy, and wash your hands!

Quiescent Garden - lomah
Quiescent Garden is back! Funny story about this soap... In 2018 I made a soap that, honestly, didn't turn out well. One of my oils was not thoroughly melted and incorporated, so when it solidified, the consistency/texture was not right and the colors did not come out as expected. I had to grate up the entire loaf and melt it down in a crock-pot (hot process method), and then plop it into a mold. As my attempt to make it look presentable, I pressed a bunch of colorful dried flower petals on the top. And that is how my Quiescent Garden soap was made. That do-over batch of soap felt like such a disappointment to me, but, to my surprise, it sold out QUICK! Not only that, but it has been requested several times since. So here it is, just in time for Valentine's Day! And I got it right on the first try! 😁
Quiescent Garden - lomah These colorful, lovely dried flowers on top of this soap is reminiscent of a sleeping, dormant garden, carpeted in petals. Ingredients: Lard, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Castor Oil, Essential Oils (Ho Wood, Orange, Litsea Cubeba, Cedarwood, Clary Sage, & Organic Lavandin),....
