I work with so many clients that feel like they should be done with pain forever.
But truth is, our movement patterns are shaping our bodies every day.
It’s not about never having pain again or anything come up it’s about knowing what to do and how to manage your body’s needs when it does come up.

Pain is not a sign of age. Pain is a sign of a need for change.
But the world will tell you that you’re old because it doesn’t care about your health.
Our body is meant to work with us not against us.
But we’ve gotta work with it first.
It’s about doing the things it needs to keep moving.
Just like wearing a mouthguard to make sure my teeth don’t wear out.
Stretching, mobility, etc is making sure that my joints are not wearing out.

Sneezing shouldn’t tweak our back.
I recently had a client that said “sneezing hurts my back”
We found that she has an anterior pelvic tilt. Her pelvis dunks forward, pinching her back.
So we started working on the problem instead of ignoring the pain.

I think it’s because we fear age. Think about it we blame age for not being able to do things.
But what if we stopped blaming age and just started taking care of our mobility so we could keep our body being able to do the activities we love?

It’s paying attention to what your body NEEDS.

Sitting on the floor is so underrated.
This position forces me to move often.
Which is the problem at desks is that it’s comfortable and comfort kills motion.
Of course walking pads and stand up desks work, but I love to stretch and work.
