What is The Great Elephant Migration? 🐘
100 life-sized Indian elephant sculptures are traveling across the U.S., sharing a powerful story about wildlife, Indigenous knowledge, and human–wildlife coexistence.
Created through a collaboration between Indigenous artisans, contemporary artists, and cultural institutions, the project raises funds to support human–wildlife coexistence projects and the protection of migratory animals.
The idea is simple but powerful:
We don't have to choose between people and wildlife. We can learn to share space.
And now, the herd is coming to Livermore, California. 🐘

We’re excited to bring a beautiful Diwali Mela & Dandiya celebration to Livermore, set around the incredible Great Elephant Migration! 🐘❤️
We’re now inviting vendors, small businesses, artists, food vendors, and community entrepreneurs who would like to showcase their products and services and have their own booth at this special celebration.

Dandiya and Diwali Vendor Booth - IVA Events Join us for Dandiya (October 10) and/or Diwali (November 1) as a vendor! Booth space is 10' x 10' x 10' and vendor must bring their own tent, tables, and chairs. Please fill out this form to apply for a booth.
