We are incredibly proud to announce the winners of the 2026 Discover San Ramon Event Innovator Competition! 🎉

Tuesday night at the City Council meeting, we had the honor of recognizing three brilliant local high school students. Now in its second year, this competition challenges students to develop creative, tourism-friendly event concepts that showcase why “Everyone Loves It Here” in San Ramon.

To celebrate their creativity, leadership, and passion for community-building, each winner was presented with a $5,000 award!

Chloe Fisher, Dougherty Valley High School – San Ramon Cherry Blossom Festival: A beautiful spring event centered around a secure pathway for the community to walk, take photos, and celebrate our city’s dedication to green spaces! 🌸

Aditi Ranjan, Dougherty Valley High School – San Ramon RoboFest: Build the Future: A dynamic, three-day robotics and innovation festival at City Center Bishop Ranch featuring hands-on STEM experiences and live competitions. 🤖

Neil Korambeth, California High School – The San Ramon Sky-Track Grand Prix: A thrilling, professional-grade drone racing and autonomous vehicle championship featuring a neon-illuminated track and a live FPV theater screen for spectators! 🏁
