Hello world, what a whirlwind these past few weeks have been Ramadan, Eid, working on 4 shows simultaneously on top of working my incredible full time job at GTP. Couldn't be more grateful for all these opportunities. 1 show opened, now I can take a nap! As we continue to dive into the other 2! Directing 2 and producing 2!

Happy New Year! It's been a while!
Tldr: open to directing opportunities.
This is my annual call-in I suppose? It seems that every year, it gets more challenging to throw your name in for a director position in the Bay Area theatre scene. As many have long-standing traditions of "pre-casting" this role. I would love to continue my creative outlet in this form, and sharing publicly has always been a way to step outside my comfort zone to promote myself. But I also fully believe in speaking it into existence. I am an artist of color, Afghan-American, bay area born and raised. I am constantly craving ways to provide opportunities and build a strong community of artists. As a casting liaison, I have met and built rapport with many incredible artists throughout the bay and beyond. I approach my work with not only tenacity but also an open mind. I love to work collaboratively and still challenge the status quo. I would love to connect with you! Any recommendations or connections are greatly appreciated.
