Troop 201, chartered in November of 1962 as the first troop in San Ramon.

Troop 201, chartered in November of 1962 as the first troop in San Ramon, follows a traditional Scouting program centered around the concept of a boy-led troop. The focus of the program supports the 3 basic aims of Scouting: Character Development, Citizenship Training, Mental and Physical Fitness.

🌞 What a fantastic day for a hike! Last week our scouts completed Lake Chabot 10 mile hike under the bright sunshine, and it was nothing short of amazing! 🥾⛰️ Here's to many more adventures together! 🌲 🏕️

Our troop had its annual summer picnic last weekend. We had a fun packed event with extreme Frisbee, tug-of-war, water balloon toss game. Not to mention the delicious food. Our Scoutmaster even baked a yummy cake on-the-spot.
