Sorting nights are always so fun! My clients came and loved it! We’re hoping to go to more this summer.
1 month with the mustang yearlings! They are all so sweet and coming along just fine

Don’t mind the messy pens, we clean them 2 times a day, just happened to take videos before we cleaned that day.
•
All 3 have gotten to run and play in the arena, and were caught so easily! I’m kicking myself for not getting a couple for myself 😂 maybe next year

Let’s meet the newbies!

Picture 1 Cooper, south steens 1yr old gelding

Picture 2 Yaquina (Quin for short), south steens 1yr old gelding
•
Picture 3 Dune, south steens 1yr old gelding.

All three are doing great! Quin is our most ‘Mustang’ out of the 3 but still doing amazing. He did manage to get his halter off, but we are working on him getting one back on when he’s ready.

Today Cooper started to learn to lead and is enjoying getting brushed and scratched all over.

We got a tag off today! These boys are so curious and sweet.

We have 1 tag to go, one of the geldings had his cut off at the corrals as it was getting really tight around his neck.

Long awaited arrival of these 3 South Steens mustangs!

As I have grown in my business, I have found I really enjoy training mustangs and helping them get forever homes., and recently a dream of mine was to help people pick their horse, board it at my barn, and train it together with me. 3 of my lessons students showed interest and today that dream became a reality!

This summer will be full of training, learning and bonding. These 3 boys don’t know how great of a life they’ve got planned for them. And I am so extremely excited to be able to help train them!
