Ivandale Farms is a nursery in Northern Virginia specializing in trees and shrubs, and they are one of the top rated nurseries in the state. They have also been a client of mine for over sixteen years.
I do very little “one and done” business. Folks find me and stay. It’s wonderful.
Yesterday, I launched the third iteration of their website.
What most folks don’t realize is that websites have a shelf life. Consumer preferences change, and with that comes the need for websites to stay current, modern, and engaging.
This project was such fun. The home page now loads with a background animation designed to pull the eye in, and the content was elevated to better align with what today’s savvy consumers expect.

If you have a website that hasn’t been touched by human hands in several years, we should really talk.

When a New Hampshire based medical spa needed a new website, they reached out to me, not as a stranger, but as a client. I’ve built websites for the owner in the past, and she was in need of a new website.
Her business was not new, but her website was built on WIX. A great DIY platform to get started, but with real limitations.
But this was more than a web design project. They needed a backend booking and scheduling system as well. I got to work, found a perfect cloud-based med spa booking app, created a compelling front end, and fully integrated her bookings.
Her clients come to her for rejuvenation services, just like mine. I rejuvenated a weary WIX website into a platform that will serve her well for years.

When healthcare provider Dan Ackroyd needed a first time website for his growing practice, he did not just roll the dice hoping to find a solid web developer. He did what many people do. He asked around his inner circle.
And with that, my phone rang. Someone in Dan’s orbit happens to be one of my existing legacy clients.
We spoke a couple of weeks ago, I gathered information about his practice, and today his new website went live: https://ackroydpsychiatric.com
Suffice to say, he is one happy practitioner.
Let’s talk about you, shall we?
Do you have an old, dusty website? Maybe you do not have a website at all. Either way, we should talk.

When the lead private investigator at Diamond Investigations needed a website redevelopment, he did some investigating of his own. He dug deep and remembered the developer who built his very first website almost 15 years ago. Using his investigative skills, he tracked down… me.
He was thrilled to discover I’m still building websites — and I’m happy to share that his brand-new site is now live: https://maprivateinvestigator.com
He is beyond pleased with the results!
If you find yourself in need of a new website, you don’t need a PI to track me down. And if I built your first website 15 or even 20 years ago, I’m still here — making the world a better place, one awesome website at a time.

A good day to bring a new website live.
A couple of my recent projects quite literally have the potential to change the world. This one was a redesign for the website of a doctor who co-founded the entire science of green chemistry.
Dr. John Warner found my company through a Google search, read my reviews, and the rest is history.
He’s a remarkably accomplished scientist, the recipient of the U.S. Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics, and Engineering Mentoring. His groundbreaking work is helping make the world that future generations inherit safer.
I have a passion for people who can change the world. Interested in seeing his new website?

Suffice it to say, he and his team are very happy. If you need a website — and want to be very happy too — let’s talk.

When the management team at startup nobraCircular needed a first-time website, they searched online for “web developer near me.” Thanks to my 100% 5-star Google reviews and strong online reputation, my company showed up at the top of the list. They reached out, and the rest is history.
This project has been an incredible experience. Companies like this are exactly why I have such a passion for what I do. When medical waste is reduced, we all benefit from a cleaner, more sustainable planet.

When an exclusive distributorship of NanoXtreme Sports Pain Cream was offered to one of my existing clients, he reached out to me, needing a website fast — very fast.
As quickly as an Olympic sprinter, I went to work. My clients’ needs, even urgent ones, are an awesome opportunity to demonstrate that I can be counted on.
This morning, his new website went live.

Did I mention that all of this happened in under 24 hours?
While I can’t guarantee a one-day turnaround on my work, I can guarantee that my clients will be as happy as a runner beating the four-minute mile mark!

A couple of weeks ago, the owner of a local business reached out to me about his website. His Google ranking had dropped rather precipitously. In reviewing the website and running a speed test, it was clear that his site needed a serious upgrade to meet today’s standards.
Unless you have geek blood coursing through your veins, you might not know that Google actually penalizes slow-loading websites with lower placement in search results.
Today, his speedy new website went live. He’s about as happy as ten pounds of jerky in one of his commercial food dehydrators!

Got a slow-loading website? It could be costing you—big time. If so, we really should talk.
And in a “you can’t make this up” moment, my newest client and I have a shared history—we actually went to middle school together.
Just look at us now… all grown up!

Not every player in the web world is a hero. Some operate in the shadows, leaving chaos in their wake—just as a recent call to me revealed.
The web developer for Colonial Landscaping was also their web host. But when that developer vanished into the abyss of a failed business, my new client's website disappeared with them—gone, like a city plunged into complete darkness.
Rule #1: Always host your website independently from your developer.
With his digital presence wiped out, the owner reached out to me, drawn by the strength of my reviews. After interviewing several companies, he returned, placing his trust in me to rebuild his online identity. Knowing time was of the essence, I leaped into action, fast-tracking the project like a true web crusader.
Today, justice was served. Colonial Landscaping's new website is live at www.coloniallandscaping.net —and the owner? Absolutely thrilled.
And me? Well, let’s just say I feel a little like Superman—a web-based superhero, keeping the internet safe from the villains of bad business practices.

When Viking Recycled Materials needed a website for their new business, the owner did what most people do these days—he went to the internet and searched for a “web developer near me.” Seeing my rather stunning review portfolio, he reached out to me to design his company’s first-ever website.
Other than his logo and a brief conversation, it was off to the races. From a brand continuity standpoint, I crafted a theme that matched the color palette of his logo. From there, it was a swing of Thor’s hammer and on to defining the textual messaging.
The rest, as they say, is history.
Today, I launched his new website. Have a look: www.vikingrecycledmaterials.com
The real testament to their satisfaction was the Google review left before the website even went live. Now that’s faith!
My 71st consecutive 5-star review, begging the question: Is it boasting if it's true?
