Designed by Otto Kruhler, the locomotives were oil-fired and pulled five-car trains at speeds of over 100 miles per hour. Later, Kruhler Class F7 4-6-4 “Hudson” locomotives replaced the Class A’s and special dining, parlor and observations cars were featured.
This display includes memorabilia and historical items from the train, the company and the passengers as they enjoyed The Milwaukee Road Hiawatha when American railroading was at its zenith.

If you're on a biz trip to the Twin Cities, the store is some 20 minutes from the airport. It is located some 20 minutes from our shop/studio thru I-35E...
There were 3 patrons plus yours truly there talking nothing but praises for the paint line. One wants a friend to try the line but he said he's to "invested" in Tamiya. Well, I agree but eventually one will run out of it and a new project will demand more so that's the chance to do it. I did it with some Vallejo colors in the past.
We all agree on one thing, whatever you do, use the MMA-002 Thinner Reducer. Chemically is like bread and butter, like nose and bo**er, like belly button and lint. You get the idea...
This paint and its rightful thinner are foolproof I promise you.

To my surprise, I found out that now they carry the entire line of paints from Mission Models US.
I spoke with at least 3 or 4 patrons and they all have nothing but praises for the paint system.
A word of caution though. Don't play alchemy with the paints and try diluting it further with wiper fluid, alcohol. Always use the MMA-002 Thinner/Reducer.
To get the best results, chemically the paint demands its own thinner.
As previously mentioned months ago, the pigment is very fine achieving a thin paint coat that won't obscure fine details on your models. It is hard to switch when one is invested in other brands. But eventually we will run out of colors and that's the chance to give new paints and formulas a chance. It happened to me during my transition from Acryl to Vallejo. Then Mission Models US came to the scene.

Ships have moved!
Ships have been moved to the diecast aisle to allow more inventory space for ships. This opens up the old ship aisle for more inventory for armour, sci-fi, gundam, and bandai! In place of the ships are the military kits from the second half of the aisle, so the entire back half can be used to stock more of the above mentioned kits!
