Our Story

North Prairie Tileworks creates handmade tile with an emphasis on Arts & Crafts and Craftsman styles, while also producing beautiful modern styles for clients who appreciate a handmade look and feel. Since 1992 we have been working with designers, architects and homeowners to personalize homes with custom tile and functional art for bathrooms, kitchens, fireplaces and floors. Unique features include custom field tile sizes, at no extra charge, allowing a bespoke fit for the client's available space and few, if any, field cuts needed during installation. Custom-sizing allows the client to achieve a refined & deliberate look and also allows glazed edges to be maintained by minimizing cuts during installation.
