Some sculptures on canvas board that is currently working on. Really love how these are coming along. I intedn to make a bunch of them. Next step is sanding and painting. I might keep some just plain white, while others will get detailed paint.

Got this awesome pheasant mount today from a Father letting go of sentimental things. The piece was actually commissioned and auctioned off in honor of his son who passed in 2007. The auction benefited a scholarship in his son’s name, (Mark E) that ran for 10 years and helped a bunch of kids. I will be putting a plaque with the full story on the display at some point to help pass along his and his son’s story. When i have a storefront for Mostly ODD Oddities in the future i will be having the pheasant displayed in a great spot.

I made this piece for myself
(NFS). It was difficult because the vintage frame was not symmetrical and a bit crooked. This piece features a bronze stage beetle and antique Italian bronze frame with wooden embellishments i painted to match the patina / color of the frame.

Just finished these fun little guys. One is a java scorpion 🦂 on a wood cut with preserved moss and tumbled rocks, and the other is a bronze scarab 🪲 resting on a dried out cactus piece with white sand and preserved moss. Sometimes simple is better. In this case i believe that is true. What do you think?

Finished this cool little Dragon Turtle shadowbox last night. It has a sawtooth hanger on the back so it can be hung on the wall, or can stand upright on its own. Gold leaf and preserved moss complete the shadowbox display. Thanks for looking!
