December is extremely tough on my family. Today is the day we lost 2 precious grands in our life. Yeah, they didn’t pass on the same year, but they passed on the same day, December 9th… 22 years apart. I want to celebrate Grandma Betty and Papa Dick today. I’m not sure what I’m going to do, but I’m going to do something.

Message to my mama: Mama… thinking about your heart today. Mine is aching too. Grandma, so sweet, she loved to hum and papa’s softest hands, softer than a baby. I have memories and they are still strong. I miss them with all my heart.

My kids used to believe that my kisses healed their boo-boos. I wonder if they realize now, their hugs magically heal my heart.

Guess what we have! A new baby in the Bizzy nursery! Introducing Willow (a cuddle baby from MacPherson’s). She is 5lbs 6 oz and 19 inches long. I have her in a preemie sleeper from Carter’s which fits, but she could easily go into NB. The preemie sleeper from Walmart did not fit. It was too small.

She has rooted blond eyelashes, magnetic pacifier (currently drying), baby scent wafer and she’s a baldy! And a cute one too. Here are a couple pictures of her now. I will get better images when it’s nice and sunny out.
